One major issue is, every year they are going to receive 600K EAD renewals. They will never get time to work on 485, but life long working on renewing this EAD's and no more further GC processing.
Remember...some of these 600K will get the GCs or have them denied. For example, concurrently filed I-140s will be denied etc. So the numbers may reduce over time.

Indian market is expected to go down till 2010 .
If the inflation does not improve, it may continue until 2014.
Next year in india we can expect home credit crisis ( like USA). - more chances with this current economy.
The current prices in Hyd ,Blore, Chennai are artifical booms. - it will come for a correction.
But for sure, if you buy a property you CANNOTexpect that to go up by 500 or 700 % up in a year.
But real estate is always a good investment in life.
And on your question - i think SBI you can get loan from here

i just returned from an infopass meeting... the guy i talked to said that they recently have a directive from the DHS/USCIS that they want to separate the legal stuff from the illegal stuff and hence they are planning to adjudicate a record number of EB apps in the next quarter or two... does anyone else concur? is this true or were my ears just ringing in that meeting?

I guess most of us under EB-3 can kiss our GC dream goodbye!! If we remain under EB-3...we will be waiting here forever and we cant move onto EB-2 with the new rules they are proposing....What a way to start the week!!!

Thank you very much for your reply. It gave me a mental peace. Do anyone believe if I go to the local office on next tuesday they will do something for me ?
i don't think going to local office is going to help. be patient you should get it. In my case it took almost 4 weeks since it got approved to physically receive AP. Although I don't know how long my lawyer held it prior to mailing it to me.

Generally Numbers dont lie (except Satyam) and I havent heard anything in Congress that may be remotely close to passing that may change the landscape for EB folks and therefore am guessing that they have not really been intimated on any urgent action to be done within next few months for something looming.
Who knows, maybe Obama is preparing for CIR 2009 now. Before CIR he maybe planning to push all legal EB cases. Remember July 2007 fiasco happened in the backdrop of CIR 2007.

Here is my point. I spend several hours 3-4 hours at least every day looking through the forum posts hoping to find ways i can contribute to efforts. There are several ideas that are generated in the forum. But cannot find out who is leading it. All i am saying is if we can have a listing of initiatives with some names associated. So i can contribute to the ones that i can support. I am not sure if i am asking for too much here. I am not a IT guy. I do not know what it takes to post it in the front page.

These people were not eligible for EB2 when they filed their own labor.. so they should NOT BE ALLOWED TO PORT THEIR OLD PDs. Sure EB3 can Interfile .. but you will get a new PD ... the date you interfile.
I am really sorry to say that you are totally wrong. Do you know that high demand very well paid jobs also fall into EB3 category. Example Pharmacists fall into EB3(for whom there is a very huge demand in US due to aging population) .
It is not easy to get a Pharmacist license. They need a degree in pharmacy(Equivalent to Pharm D in US) . If he/she is a foreign graduate he/she has to go through national level TSE/TOEFL, FPGEE , NAPLEX and state level Jurisprudence exams. A total of 5 exams and 1600-2000 hours of internship.Even US citizens think twice to go pharmacy colleges because it is really expensive to pay the fee.
This is just an example and this is our personal experience.

EB3_NEPA, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They first use the regular EB3 numbers available.
Black_logs are you ABSOLUTELY sure that they eat into the EB3 numbers? On the Visa Bulletin, they have a seperate entry below the EB3. Just curious if we are getting this Schedule A thing correctly

From the daily dairy (thomas.loc.gov):
"By 55 yeas to 40 nays..Senate rejected the motion .. with respect to Cornyn Amendment No. 2339 (to Amendment No. 2327), to provide interim relief .... Subsequently, the point of order that the amendment, was not germane, was sustained, and the amendment thus fell."

I am wondering that did they have to do the advertisements for the Non-RIR case of yours.
In TR cases the advts were done later, but now after a "half-a-decade" wait does the Dept of Labor still want the advts for Backlogged cases.
